Man, 30, found fatally shot in NW Indiana

He was found near 36th Avenue and Colorado Street in Lake Station with gunshot wounds, the coroner’s office said.

A 30-year-old man was fatally shot Thursday in northeast Indiana.

Authorities were called about 4:45 p.m. near 36th Avenue and Colorado Street in Lake Station, the Lake County Coroner’s Office said. There, they found the man with gunshot wounds.

The man, who lived in Lake Station, was pronounced dead later in the evening, the coroner’s office said. His death was ruled a homicide.
