A 19-year-old man was killed in a shooting Sunday in west suburban Elmwood Park. 

Andres Damian Salgado was shot multiple times outside a home about 5:47 a.m. in the 2800 block of North 77th Avenue where a group of “kids” gathered to play video games, Elmwood Park Police Chief Frank Fagiano said. 

Salgado was taken Gottlieb Memorial Hospital in Melrose Park, where he died about four hours later, Fagiano and the Cook County medical examiners office said. 

No one is in custody, and the West Suburban Major Crimes Task Force is assisting in the investigation, Fagiano said.
