Police are warning Lawndale residents of recent armed robberies in which a gunman follows victims from Pink Line trains.

In each, the victim meets the person on a CTA train before walking off the train and being robbed by the suspect at gunpoint in the 1800 block of South St. Louis Avenue near Ogden Avenue, Chicago police said in a community alert.

The robberies happened about 10 p.m. March 27 and 9 p.m. April 7, police said.
