A man was killed in a shooting Friday on the West Side.

The 52-year-old was found about 1:30 p.m. in a vehicle in the 4300 block of West Lexington Street with multiple gunshot wounds, Chicago police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Cook County medical examiner’s office identified him as James Perryman, of Lawndale. An autopsy said he died of multiple gunshot wounds, and ruled his death a homicide.

Area North detectives are investigating.
