Man found shot to death on West Side

The 52-year-old was found with multiple gunshot wounds in a vehicle.

A man was shot and killed on the West Side. — A man was fatally shot April 10, 2020, in the 4300 block of West Lexington Street on the West Side.

A man was killed in a shooting Friday on the West Side.

The 52-year-old was found about 1:30 p.m. in a vehicle in the 4300 block of West Lexington Street with multiple gunshot wounds, Chicago police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Cook County medical examiner’s office identified him as James Perryman, of Lawndale. An autopsy said he died of multiple gunshot wounds, and ruled his death a homicide.

Area North detectives are investigating.
