A teenage boy was shot Sunday in West Rogers Park on the North Side.

The boy, 17, was walking through a gas station about 8:30 p.m. when someone fired shots, striking him in the hip, Chicago police said.

He was taken to St. Francis Hospital in Evanston in good condition, police said.

Area North detectives are investigating.
