A 16-year-old boy was shot in his foot Wednesday night in West Rogers Park on the North Side.

The shooting happened about 11 p.m. while he was walking in the 6400 block of North Rockwell Street, Chicago police said.

A friend took him to Illinois Masonic Medical Center, where he was listed in good condition, police said. He was transferred to Lurie Children’s Hospital the next morning at 3:30 a.m.

No arrests have been reported.
