A 25-year-old man was shot and killed Thursday morning in Lawndale on the West Side.

The attack happened about 11:45 a.m. in the 3200 block of West Lexington Street, Chicago police said.

Maurice Logan was standing in his apartment when two gunmen walked through the garage area and shot him through a door before running off, officials said.

Logan was taken to Mt. Sinai Hospital, where he died hours later, the Cook County medical examiner’s office said. An autopsy conducted Saturday said he died of multiple gunshot wounds, and ruled his death a homicide.

No arrests have been made as Area North detectives investigate.
