Man shot to death in Lawndale

A man was killed in a drive-by Thursday in Lawndale on the West Side.

Quincey Butler, 28, was outside about 10:15 p.m. in the 3000 block of West Flournoy Street when someone in a passing black sedan shot him in the abdomen, according to Chicago police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

He was taken to Stroger Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, authorities said.

An autopsy found he died of multiple gunshot wounds and ruled his death a homicide, the medical examiner’s office said. He lived in Lawndale.

No one is in custody as Area North detectives investigate.
