Police are warning residents of Chinatown of two recent strong-arm robberies on the South Side.

In each incident, someone approached the victim and took their property, Chicago police said in a community alert.

Each happened about 6:30 p.m. April 3 in the 200 block of West 26th Street and in the 2300 block of South Wentworth Avenue, police said.

The suspect may have been in a silver-colored Mazda 6.
