A man was fatally shot Sunday in Fifth City on the West Side.

The 19-year-old was on foot at 4:27 a.m. when someone approached and shot him multiple times in the 3400 block of West Adams Street, according to Chicago police.

He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.

The Cook County medical examiner’s office identified him as Azil Deundre Franklin Brown.

No one is in custody as Area Four detectives investigate.
