A 25-year-old man was fatally shot Tuesday in west suburban Aurora.

About 5:15 p.m., Paris Brandon was in front of an apartment complex in the 700 block of Huntington Drive when someone shot him, according to Aurora police.

He was rushed to a local hospital but succumbed to his injuries, police said.

An investigation into the circumstances of the shooting is ongoing.
