Shots were fired Tuesday on Interstate 57, causing a vehicle to crash on the Far South Side.

Someone opened fire on a northbound vehicle about 7:30 p.m. on I-57 near 115th Street, Illinois State Police said. The shots caused the vehicle to crash into the left concrete wall.

No one was shot or injured in the crash, state police said.

The investigation is ongoing.
