Car wash burglaries reported on South Side

In each case, the suspects used tools to break into pay machines or kiosks, police said.

Police are warning car wash owners in Burnside and Brainerd of a pair of burglaries reported this week on the South Side.

In each case, the suspects used tools to break into pay machines or kiosks to steal cash, Chicago police said.

A burglary happened between 12:50 a.m. and 4:40 a.m. Monday in the 1500 block of East 95th Street, police said. Another happened at 2:06 a.m. Thursday in the 1000 block of West 95th Street.

The suspects were wearing masks and dark clothing, police said.
