Two men were shot, one of them fatally, Monday in East Garfield Park.

They were standing on a sidewalk about 8:30 p.m. in the 2800 block of West Wilcox Street when someone in a white sedan unleashed gunfire, Chicago police said.

A 45-year-old man, who was shot in the head and torso, was pronounced dead at Stroger Hospital, police said.

The Cook County medical examiner’s office identified the man as being Ledell Randell.

The other man, 52, was shot in the leg and taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in good condition, police said.

No arrests have been made. Area Four detectives are investigating.
