Two people, including a 16-year-old boy, were arrested Wednesday after allegedly hitting a cyclist with a stolen SUV in West Town.

The boy was driving a white Chevrolet Tahoe at a high speed about 6:10 p.m. in the 1300 block of West Hubbard Street when he hit a northbound cyclist on Ogden Avenue, Chicago police said. The cyclist was thrown off his bike and landed on a Toyota in another lane of traffic.

The cyclist was taken to Stroger Hospital, where his condition stabilized, police said.

The boy and another person in the vehicle were arrested, while one of them hospitalized with injuries that were not life-threatening.

The Chevrolet was stolen about three hours earlier in Noble Square, a police source said.

Two weapons were recovered, police said. Charges have not been filed.
