A teenage girl was shot Sunday in East Garfield Park on the West Side.

The 17-year-old was with a group about 8:30 p.m. walking through an alley on Fulton Boulevard when shots rang out, Chicago police said.

The girl was shot and taken to a local hospital in good condition, police said.

Area Four detectives are investigating.
