A convenience store was burglarized Thursday in Jefferson Park on the Northwest Side.

About 1:20 a.m., a male broke the front glass door of a convenience store and stole a video slot machine, Chicago police said. He left the machine in the middle of the street and fled.

A sunglasses rack was also taken from the store and found in a nearby bush, police said.

Area Five detectives are investigating.
