A 20-year-old man was shot and killed Sunday in West Rogers Park on the North Side.
He was walking about 7:20 p.m. in the 6200 block of North Troy Street when someone approached and shot him in the abdomen, Chicago police said.
He was taken to St. Francis Hospital in Evanston, where he was pronounced dead, police said. The Cook County medical examiner’s office identified him as Gary Tinder. He lived in the same neighborhood where he was shot.
