Police are warning residents about a series of vehicle thefts since last month in Bronzeville on the South Side.

In each case, victims parked vehicles on the street and returned to find them missing, according to a community alert from Chicago police.

The thefts occurred:

  • Between 6 p.m. May 19 and 4 a.m. May 21 in the first block of East 50th Street;
  • About noon May 22 in the 4800 block of South Michigan Avenue; and
  • Between 5:30 p.m. May 31 and 1:30 p.m. June 1 in the 5000 block of South Prairie Avenue.

No suspect description was provided.
