A man was found shot to death Saturday in Park Manor on the South Side.

Officers responding to ShotSpotter reports of gunfire at 1:04 a.m. found the 41-year-old man in an alley in the 7000 block of South King Drive, according to Chicago police.

He was shot in the back and chest and pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

The man was identified as Thomas Jones III of Woodlawn, the Cook County medical examiner’s office said. An autopsy conducted Sunday confirmed the man died of his gunshot wounds, and his death was ruled a homicide.
