Chicago police are warning residents of three reported catalytic converter thefts in May and June in West Town.

In each incident someone stole the catalytic converter from a parked vehicle, according to a community alert from Chicago police.

The thefts happened:

  • Between 10 p.m. May 20 and 9 a.m. May 21 in the 1400 block of West Hubbard Street;
  • Between 10 p.m. June 3 and 7 a.m. June 4 in the 1300 block of West Grand Avenue; and
  • Between 3 a.m. and 4 a.m. June 26 in the 1100 block of West Hubbard Street.
