A man who was shot last week on I-57 in Morgan Park on the South Side has died from his injuries.

The 25-year-old was wounded in a shooting about 1:30 p.m. July 18 on a ramp on I-57 near 111th Street, Illinois State Police said. 

Jaquan Darling died Wednesday at 1:17 p.m. at Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

An autopsy ruled his death a homicide, the medical examiner’s office said. He lived in Jeffery Manor.

Illinois State Police are investigating.
