Chicago police are warning Englewood residents about a recent string of armed robberies reported in the South Side neighborhood.
In each incident, someone approached the victim, pulled out a weapon and stole their property, Chicago police said.
The robberies happened:
- About 9:50 a.m. July 16 in the 5700 block of South Elizabeth Street;
- About 1 p.m. July 21 in the 5700 block of South Racine Avenue; and
- About 6:35 a.m. July 26 in the 5600 block of South Racine Avenue.
