A man and a teenage boy were wounded in a shooting Sunday in University Village on the Near West Side.

The 17-year-old boy and 19-year-old man were sitting on a porch with a group of people at 1:37 a.m. in the 1200 block of West Hastings Street when someone fired shots from a gray or silver vehicle, according to Chicago police.

The 17-year-old was shot in the hand while the 19-year-old was hit in the arm, police said. Someone drove them both to Stroger Hospital, where they were listed in fair condition.

No one is in custody as Area Three detectives investigate.
