A 26-year-old man was shot to death Sunday on the Near North Side.

He was shot about 12:45 p.m. in the 1400 block of North Kingsbury Street, Chicago police said.

The man, identified as Kenric D. Campbell, was rushed to Illinois Masonic Medical Center, where he died at 1:22 p.m., police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office said. He lived on the Near West Side.

Area Three detectives are investigating.
