A man was fatally shot Wednesday in west suburban Cicero.

He was shot multiple times about 1:30 p.m. in the 3300 block of South Cicero Avenue, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office. He was pronounced dead about 20 minutes later.

Though he remains unidentified, autopsy results released Thursday ruled his death a homicide, the medical examiner’s office said.

Cicero police did not immediately respond to a request for details.
