A 15-year-old boy was shot Tuesday in Pilsen on the Lower West Side.

He was standing on a corner about 4:15 p.m. in the 1400 block of West 17th Street when someone in a gold-colored sedan fired shots, Chicago police said.

The teen was struck in the leg and taken to Stroger Hospital in good condition, police said.

Area Three detectives are investigating.
