William Esteban Shelton III, 38, was pronounced dead at 4:11 p.m. Sunday at Illinois Masonic Medical Center, the Cook County medical examiner’s office said.
On Sept. 11, he was sitting in a vehicle about 6:40 p.m. in the 1000 block of West Argyle Street when someone fired shots, striking him in the head, police said.
