A 29-year-old man was killed in a shooting early Monday in Dunning on the Northwest Side.

He was parking his vehicle about 1:40 a.m. in the 3200 block of North Nagle Avenue when someone in a white sedan fired shots, Chicago police said. The man was shot multiple times and was taken to Illinois Masonic Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

The Cook County medical examiner’s office identified him as Nabil Marhouar of Dunning.

No one is in custody as Area Five detectives investigate.

He was one of nine people killed in weekend gun violence across Chicago.

In October 2019, the Dunning neighborhood was the scene of one of Chicago’s deadliest shootings in recent memory. A 66-year-old man allegedly shot and killed five people in a condo building in the 6700 block of West Irving Park.
