A 24-year-old man was fatally shot early Friday while seated in a parked car in Fuller Park on the South Side.

He returned to a car with another man after picking up food about 4 a.m. when a gunman ran up to them, Chicago police said.

The gunman fired shots into the car and struck the 24-year-old in the chest, killing him at the scene in the 5200 block of South Princeton Avenue, police said.

The other man in the car ran from the scene and called 911, police said. No arrest has been reported.

The Cook County medical examiner’s office identified the man as Jonathan Wolf. He lived in Hermosa. An autopsy ruled his death a homicide, saying he died of multiple gunshot wounds.
