Teens wounded in Englewood shooting

They were inside of an Acura about 6:30 p.m. in the 5900 block of South Normal Boulevard when someone opened fire, Chicago police said.

A 19-year-old man and a 17-year-old boy were shot Monday in Englewood on the South Side.

They were inside of an Acura about 6:30 p.m. in the 5900 block of South Normal Boulevard when someone opened fire, Chicago police said.

The boy was struck in the arm and thigh, police said. He was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center in good condition.

The man was shot in the back and taken to the same hospital, police said, where he was in critical condition.

No arrests have been reported. Area Two detectives are investigating.
