A woman driving a white Dodge Caravan struck a 62-year-old woman Monday near a crosswalk in the 3900 block of West Fullerton Avenue, Chicago police said.

A driver was arrested after a 62-year-old woman was fatally struck by a minivan Monday afternoon near a crosswalk in Logan Square on the Northwest Side.

Patsy Ely was hit by a Dodge Caravan about 5 p.m. near a crosswalk in the 3900 block of West Fullerton Avenue, police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office said.

She was brought to Illinois Masonic Hospital where she was pronounced dead, police said.

The 41-year-old driver of the minivan was arrested, police said. No charges have been filed.

Autopsy results haven’t been released.
