Teen boy fatally shot in Little Village

A 16-year-old boy was fatally shot Sunday in Little Village on the Southwest Side.

The boy was shot in the chest about 5:10 p.m. in the 3300 block of West 30th Street, Chicago police said. He was brought to Mt. Sinai Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

He was identified as Alberto Flores of Little Village by the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Area Four detectives are investigating.
