Three homes were burglarized on the same day in March in West Elsdon on the Southwest Side.

In each incident someone broke into a residence or garage and stole property, Chicago police said in a community alert.

The burglaries happened March 3, about 4:45 a.m. in the 5600 block of South Kolin Avenue, about 6:30 a.m. in the 5600 block of South Kolmar Avenue and about 11:30 a.m. in the 5500 block of South Kildare Avenue, police said.
