A woman was struck in the head by armed carjackers at a gas station in Ravenswood on the Northwest Side early Tuesday.

The woman, 28, was at a gas station in the 5200 block of North Western Avenue around 2 a.m. when two people, described only as males, forced her out of her black Jeep at gunpoint, Chicago police said.

The woman was hit in the head and treated by paramedics at the scene, police said.

Area Three detectives are investigating.
