A person was arrested after a 19-year-old woman was wounded in a domestic-related shooting Thursday in Gresham on the South Side.

The woman was sitting in a vehicle about 9:35 p.m. in the 7800 block of South Winchester Avenue when a female fired shots at her, Chicago police said.

She suffered a gunshot wound to the shoulder and was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, police said. She was listed in fair condition.

One person was taken into custody, police said. Police sources said the incident was domestic-related. No charges have been filed.

On Wednesday, seven people were shot, 2 fatally, in Chicago.
