Businesses burglarized in Near West Side

A business was burglarized April 7 in the 2700 block of West Madison Street.

Three businesses were broken into since April 7, 2021 in the Near West Side.

Three businesses were burglarized in April in the Near West Side.

In each incident, a male suspect uses a brick to break a window and takes money from inside, Chicago police said.

The burglaries happened:

  • April 7 in the 2700 block of West Madison Street;
  • April 12 in the 2800 block of West Madison Street; and
  • April 12 in the 2400 block of West Madison Street.

The suspect is between 20 to 30 years old and about 6-feet.

Anyone with information is asked to call Area Three detectives at 312-744-8263.
