A man was fatally shot Friday in suburban Maywood.
The shooting happened about 6 p.m. in the 600 block of South 12th Avenue, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
James Sisson, 68, was found in a vehicle with a gunshot wound to the shoulder, Maywood police said.
He was pronounced dead at 6:12 p.m., the medical examiner’s office said. An autopsy ruled his death a homicide.
Maywood police are investigating.
