Police are warning residents of a string of armed robberies reported near a gas station in South Deering on the South Side.

In each incident, victims are robbed by one or two armed males as they are leaving a gas station, Chicago police said in a community alert.

The robberies happened:

  • About 8 p.m. March 4 in the 9500 block of South Stony Island Avenue;
  • About 2 a.m. March 5 in the 1800 block of East 95th Street;
  • About 8 p.m. March 8 in the 400 block of East 95th Street; and
  • About 2 a.m. March 10 in the 9400 block of South Cottage Grove Avenue.
