A man was fatally stabbed Friday on the Northwest Side.

The 24-year-old was in a vehicle about 4:20 p.m. in a parking lot in the 3900 block of North Harlem Avenue when he got out and got into someone else’s vehicle, Chicago police said.

A person inside the vehicle stabbed the 24-year-old multiple times, police said. He was taken to Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, where he was pronounced dead.

The Cook County medical examiner’s office identified the man as Michael Majeski.

The alleged attacker was taken into custody, police said.

Charges are pending.
