A 36-year-old woman was critically injured in a shooting Saturday morning in Englewood on the South Side.

The woman was inside her vehicle about 3:25 a.m. in the 5500 block of South Princeton Avenue when someone shot her multiple times in the arms, Chicago police said.

She was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center and listed in critical condition, police said.

Police have not yet released any additional information.

Area One detectives are investigating.
