Man critically wounded in East Garfield Park shooting

The shooting happened about 4 p.m. in the 3500 block of West Fulton Street, police said.

A Chicago police officer was shot Oct. 18, 2021, in Lincoln Park. — A man was shot July 19, 2021, in East Garfield Park.

A man was in critical condition after being shot Monday in East Garfield Park.

He was standing outside about 4 p.m. in the 3500 block of West Fulton Street when someone pulled up in a light-colored vehicle and opened fire, Chicago police said.

The 22-year-old was struck in the neck and taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in critical condition, police said.

No arrests have been made. Area four detectives are investigating.
