A man died months after he was wounded in a shooting in Humboldt Park on the West Side.

Rogelio Hernandez, 26, died of his injuries Saturday after he was shot months earlier in the 2500 block of West Le Moyne Street, Chicago police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office said.

Hernandez was found unresponsive May 24 after someone shot him several times in the chest, police said.

An autopsy released Wednesday found he died of complications from his gunshot wounds and his death was ruled a homicide, according to the medical examiner’s office.
