A man was walking to his car when he was shot Monday night in West Pullman on the Far South Side.

The man, 24, was in the 12100 block of South LaSalle Street when another man approached and shot him around 11:40 p.m., Chicago police said.

The man was driven by an acquaintance to Roseland Hospital where he was listed in critical condition, police said.

No one was in custody.
