Man fatally shot in Lansing

The man was shot several times in the 17100 block of Grant Street.

Two people were shot, one fatally, July 24, 2021, in Gage Park. — A 34-year-old man was fatally shot July 6, 2021, in suburban Lansing.

A man was fatally shot Tuesday in Lansing, according to preliminary information from police.

The man, 34, from Chicago, was in the 17100 block of Grant Street when he was shot multiple times about 2:20 a.m., police said.

He was brought to Franciscan Health in Hammond, Indiana, where he was pronounced dead, police said.

No one was reported in custody.
