A man was killed in a drive-by shooting Friday in Humboldt Park on the Northwestern Side.
Dominique McClendon, 29, was standing on the sidewalk around 6:10 a.m. in the 900 block of North Hamlin Avenue when an all black sedan approached and someone inside opened fire, Chicago police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office said.
McClendon was shot in the chest and taken to Stroger Hospital where he was pronounced dead, police said.
No one was in custody.
