A 16-year-old was shot and wounded Sunday in West Englewood on the South Side.

Around 11:15 p.m., the male teen was standing on the sidewalk in the 6000 block of South Wolcott Avenue when someone opened fire, Chicago Police said.

He suffered a graze wound to the face and was taken to University of Chicago Medical Center where his condition was stabilized, police said.

No one was in custody.
