Around 9:20 p.m., two men, 27 and 22, were discovered with gunshot wounds to their heads in their apartment in the 4800 block of West Armitage, Chicago Police said.

The 27-year-old was found with a gun in his hand, police said.

He allegedly shot the younger man before shooting himself, according to a preliminary investigation by police.

Both were pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

An autopsy found the 27-year-old died of a gunshot wound to his head and ruled his death a suicide, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

The other man died of multiple gunshot wounds, the medical examiner’s office said. His death was ruled a homicide.
