A man was fatally shot Friday morning in Logan Square on the Northwest Side.

Authorities have identified a man fatally shot while walking in Logan Square on the Northwest Side Friday morning.

Michael Bankston III was attacked just after 4 a.m. in the 2600 block of North Milwaukee Avenue, Chicago police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office said.

The 25-year-old was taken to Illinois Masonic Medical Center, where he died from multiple gunshot wounds, police said.

No one was in custody.
