A 24-year-old man was shot death Saturday afternoon in Austin on the Northwest Side.
Demarco Donviel Strawder, 24, was found unresponsive on the sidewalk about 12:15 p.m. in the 1600 block of North Mayfield Avenue, Chicago police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office said.
He was shot in the chest and legs and was taken to Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
